Wurtulla, Qld Full Time Nanny

A professional and loving family in Wurtulla, QLD are seeking an outgoing, confident and experienced nanny. The family have 3 children (Aged 3yrs, 2yrs and 6 months). The care will only be for the two older children.
Start date: Flexible - Can Start ASAP however willing to wait till Jan 2025
Contract: 12+ months long term preferred
Pay: From $35-40 per hour depending on experience
The days and normal hours are: 3 - 5 days per week
The position can be part-time until March 2025 and then it must become full-time. Or if the right candidate desires full-time from the get-go, the family are willing to fulfill that from the outset as well. It is all about finding the right fit.
The days and hours are flexible for the right candidate. It could be 3 days, 4 days, or 4 1/2 days. Collective hours not to exceed 35-40 per week.
Typical hours are Mon - Fri 8.30am - 4.30pm or 9.00am - 4.00pm.
A nanny who is engaging, fun to be around but also nurturing, understanding, and patient is preferred. The nanny should be level-headed, confident, and able to manage/multitask, following the children's routines and providing fun, creative, and stimulating indoor and outdoor adventurous activities that will assist in the children's development.
This is a fairly active role, so the nanny must enjoy getting out and about with both children.
A typical day for the nanny will involve a morning and afternoon outing either to scheduled activities like swimming, jiu-jitsu, music, etc., or attendances to (bush school, FitKids, YMCA open gym, Mary Cairncross, Bird World, Buderim Falls, Ginger Factory, Wildlife HQ, Australia Zoo, Glitter & Goop, etc). In between activities, there will be a nap at home for the 2-year-old and quiet time for the 3-year-old.
The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows:

To care for the children
Follow the children's routine
Play and engage with the children
Take the children to activities, i.e. swimming, jiu-jitsu, music, adhoc adventurous activities, walks, park/playgrounds, zoo, etc.
Light household duties - e.g., sterilizing bottles, laundry, dishes, general tidying and clearing
Help prep/cook meals for the children
Run errands - adhoc/occasionally

The family's expectations from their nanny are:

Must have a minimum of 3+ years nanny or childcare experience
Tutoring experience (Ages 2-5) preferred
Have a current first aid certificate
Have a current Blue Card
Fit and active and able to swim
Display strong communication skills and speak English; other languages would be an added bonus
Full driver's license and clean driving record and own car (kms and petrol to be reimbursed)
Basic cooking skills and food safety
Must live in close proximity to Wurtulla (No further than 25mins away)
