This role would be responsible for stores located in the North WA region consisting of – Carousel, Cockburn Gateway, Booragoon, Mandurah, Rockingham & Bunbury.  What we're looking for: 
An experienced Visual Merchandiser keen to join a growing business and create their dream role. We need someone who can partner with Store Managers and Area Managers to help inspire their teams to love where they work and create happy, satisfied customers.
Our ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and demonstrate the highest level of Visual Merchandising skill. We're all about Youth Fashion. You need to have a passion for creating memorable spaces and a keen eye for detail. A natural planner and organiser who can also adapt to changing environments - Someone who loves visual merchandising and helping people develop their skills. A successful VM will be able to create a store environment that welcomes and excites our customers each time they walk through our doors.
You have a positive and expansive outlook on life. We are looking for a leader who thinks about 'What is possible each day'.
Essentials: Fashion retail know-how with hands-on experience from the shop floor. We want someone who gets retail not just the visual merchandising piece. Store management experience is desirable. 
A solid team working track record. We're looking for an experienced VM and retailer, who is comfortable working with a large and diverse team. Multi-sit experience is desirable.

A typical day: You will travel to stores in conjunction with the plan the Area Manager has for the day/week/month/quarter. 
As the VM for our current and future stores in this Western Australia district, you 'll lead our store teams to both maintain and achieve a solid capability for VM in your absence. Your approach must be success driven and balanced. You'll be a role model for excellence and be a credible resource for any questions (big and small). Provide quality feedback (praise and developmental) to a variety of leaders. As part of the leadership team in the district, you are excited to work with our brands and understand that your success rests with the reaction of our customers. You'll work to help teams achieve targets, create a welcoming atmosphere, demonstrate efficiency and ensure outstanding looking stores is a daily deliverable.
You would be available for new store openings and possible interstate travel. Your typical week would be Monday - Friday however during peak trade, new store openings and special projects such as launches you may be required to work the odd night or weekend.

Key Responsibilities: Ensure the highest level of customer care, in line with Universal Store specific service expectations. Yes, we all serve.Lead the Visual Merchandising standard by personal example. Able to uphold merchandising standards while demonstrating a strong creative skill set. Demonstrate a high standard of leadership in all areas of the business. Ensure that areas of opportunity are continually identified throughout all store visits. Keep an eye out for talent and communicate with your Store Manager to help develop talented individuals (create future leaders).Be mindful of payroll budgets, finish your work and leave a tidy store behind.Follow directives as well as improve VM systems to keep the store visuals moving forward.Model our highest expectations in our behavioural dictionary and provide praise and development when required.What's Unique About Us?
