RCR Mining Technologies has a rewarding career opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Draftsperson at our Bunbury Workshop.
As part of the Engineering team at RCR Mining Technologies, you will be working within a dynamic, industry leading multi-disciplinary team in the exciting Bulk Material Handling sector. Using a First Principles Engineering approach, you will design OEM equipment, large plant and bespoke machines right from concept and pre-feasibility study stages through execution to final client handover.
Assisting to lead a large team of Draftspersons, you will take responsibility for the review and approval of technical drawings and models for mechanical plant and equipment design, ensuring procedural and technical compliance throughout.

To be considered for this position, you will need to have: An Advanced Diploma of Engineering (Mechanical) or equivalent 7+ years of demonstratable experience in a Senior or Lead Mechanical Draftsperson role Relevant experience in the Mining and Resource industry Proven leadership and mentoring skills and the ability to manage a team of Draftspersons of varying experience levels, ensuring a productive and positive work environment A sound understanding and awareness of Australian standards relating to Mechanical Design including the Safety in Design process Proficiency in the latest version of Autodesk AutoCAD, Inventor, Vault and Navisworks Excellent organisation skills, the ability to meet deadlines and respond well to a changing work environment Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation If this sounds like you and you would like to take on this challenge, then click on 'Apply' now.
