Transport Planner

We are proud to be recruiting for a Transport Planner Administrator to join our client's busy office to support the Transport Operations Manager and the team on a Temporary-Permanent basis based in Sandycroft (CH5).Pay & Hours of Work:Monday to Friday working 8:30am-5pm£12.50 per hourResponsibilities:Dynamic route planning to ensure all our customer collections are completedEffective communication with drivers and customersInputting data from duty of care/job cards onto our client's internal systemIssue purchase orders for maintenance and tyresDVLA monthly Driving License checksUpdate supplier spreadsheets when required with weights and records of jobs carried outAssisting Transport Manager with day-to-day tasks to enable holiday coverChecking supplier invoices against order log to ensure correct prices have been chargedAssist in sending formal quotes when requiredRequirements:Transport planning experience is essential as we need you to understand the unique pressures that impact our client's day-to-day operationThere's a degree of flexibility needed in both working hours and core responsibility as this may change depending on workload and holiday coverExcellent organisation and communication skills so that you can build effective relationships with our client's drivers, customers and the teamA full understanding of road transport regulationsIf you feel you are the right candidate for the Transport Planner Administrator, please send your CV through to ****** or call us on 01352 762213!Closing Date: 07/02/2025
