A job to be proud of: The Logistics Manager is responsible for the service delivery and strategic alignment of supply chain goods and services to the organisation.

What you'll do: Support objectives aligned to function and overarching strategic objectives of the stream.
Review and implement optimal distribution models across the entire Supply Chain network.
Negotiate transportation rates and services to deliver quality and a cost-effective transport network Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop fit for purpose logistics solutions.
Use industry and market appropriate methodologies to manage the Logistics functions to ensure inventory management, warehousing optimisation, optimal throughput and scalable operations to the needs of the business.
Be visible and deliberate in coaching and developing direct reports to build a high performing team to achieve departmental and organisational outcomes.
Be a visible and approachable leader within the department and ensure teams are supported.
Drive organisational and departmental strategies to achieve required objectives.
Manage people related matters including but not limited to conduct, performance, culture and grievances or ensure they escalate to People Services for advice.
Deliver strategic human resourcing relating to career mapping, scalability and continuation of service.
Ensure function budget is managed within the ambit of the agreed budget.
Promote a continuous improvement culture that encourages growth and change when required.
What you'll need: 6+ years experience in a similar role (ideally working within health, FMCG and/or multi-site inventory businesses).
Demonstrated people management and leadership experience at a manager level.
Experience forging strong working partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong experience in change management.
Strong level of experience with MS Office suite applications.
Experience in industry planning methodologies such as S&OP and CPFR.
Strong systems background with specific proficiency in ERP, WMS and inventory management software.
C Class Driver Licence – Requirement Relevant tertiary qualification aligned to ambit of this position (i.e.
