The Opportunity MinRes are currently seeking an Supply Chain Scheduler to join our Central Pilbara, Iron Ore operation on a 8x6 roster from Perth.
Reporting to the Superintendent, you will be responsible for developing and executing short-term product movement, haulage, and shipping plans.
You'll work closely with internal teams to resolve short-term supply chain challenges, ensuring that production, material movement, and delivery are carried out efficiently.
Your contribution will be key in meeting planned grade, volume, and on-time delivery targets.
Develop and deliver 24-hour product movement plans to ensure timely logistics execution.
Create short-term logistics plans from the mine gate to the port, considering constraints such as grade, risk, and supply chain variables.
Track and report on performance, including conformance to plan and reconciliation of product through the supply chain.
Support mine planning across short-term horizons (0-3 months), ensuring alignment with sales targets, demand, and inventory levels.
Maintain data systems ensuring accurate planning inputs, product quality tracking, and production accounting data.
Create short-term logistics plans from the mine gate to the port, considering constraints such as grade, risk, and supply chain variables.
Perform scenario analysis to optimise scheduling and grade outcomes.
Your Experience and Skills: Tertiary qualification in Geology, Mining Engineering, or equivalent field Current Australian Driver's License (Minimum C Class).
2-4 years of experience in geology, mine design, scheduling, and planning in an open pit mining environment.
Experience with mine planning and design software packages (e.g., Surpac, Alastri) is advantageous.
Experience in Fleet Management Systems is highly regarded but not essential.

About Iron Valley Situated 75 kilometres north-west of Newman in the Pilbara region, Iron Valley is one of MinRes' two Central Pilbara Hub iron ore sites.
