Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring an efficient, safe, and secure tool store facility, ensuring a high level of tool availability and customer satisfaction.
Core Duties Maintain the electronic booking system on a shift basis ensuring accurate records are kept of distribution and collection of Newmont and Individuals equipment and tools stored in the tool store.
Record and report on damaged and/or lost tooling, organise repairs or order replacement tooling as required.
Order, maintain and report consumable stock levels in the tool store via SAP, including restocking consumables stock levels in vending machine each shift.
Ensure calibrations and tagging up to date for all required tooling.
Maintain housekeeping standards in the tool store.?????? Accountability for return of autonomous haulage protective devices at the end of each shift.
Ensure a proactive approach to occupational health and safety and compliance with statutory requirements and company policies and practices.
Participate in environmental and sustainability initiatives including minimising wastage of consumables.
Maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external customers and service providers.
Contribute to continuous improvement by constantly looking for opportunities to improve work practices and procedures.
Demonstrate personal commitment to Newmont's values.
Skills and Abilities Your sound interpersonal and time management skills together with a high attention to detail will be requisite for your success in this busy role.
An ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and confidentiality and a positive and professional approach towards dealing with a broad customer base is essential.
Practical skills will include basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, SAP, a current Western Australian C Driver's Licence, mechanical aptitude, and knowledge of slinging, lifting and working at heights equipment inspection regimes.
This position will work a 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off roster.
