We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Tenure Management Officer to join us in our Engineering and Planning in Perth, Brisbane or Melbourne on a Permanent Full Time contract.
Reporting to the Corridor Protection Lead, you will play a key role in managing land tenure effectively for the operational assets required by APA.
Key Responsibilities Oversee the management of databases for both new and existing land tenure, agreements, and financial obligations.Lead the resolution of outstanding tenure issues, ensuring APA's rights and interests, such as easements, are fully protected.Manage lease-related activities, including renewals, rent reviews, and terminations.Oversee the preparation of new leases, co-use deeds, access agreements, and any legal documentation necessary for APA's operations.Ensure accurate property data and valuations to support correct rates and state land tax assessments.Facilitate clear and timely communication with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on property management and land tenure matters.Your background Strong knowledge of land tenure systems and legislation across Australian states.Proven ability to research, interpret, and apply relevant legislation as needed.Skilled in preparing and executing legal documents related to land tenure and land use.Proven experience in building positive relationships with private, corporate, and government landholders and their representatives.Advanced skills in stakeholder liaison, negotiation, and influencing, with excellent time management and organisational abilities.Strong commitment to safety, with adherence to safe practices and readiness to travel, including to remote locations.Working at APA
