About the Role This role is offered on a Permanent, Full-Time basis, at our Burswood location.
The successful candidate for this role will be able to: Human Resource Management Hands-on HR generalist support for operational staff in all aspects of day-to-day management of people across the organisation in areas such as talent management and recruitment, performance development, performance management, training, and development. Work with P&C Manager to implement P&C operational plan and identified human resource projects. Draft and issue contracts of employment, employment variations and internal employee correspondence. Track end-to-end HR processes and provide metrics on employee movements and associated analytics. Conduct exit interviews, track and report on turnover trends. Interpret the enterprise agreement, FW legislation and awards to ensure there is consistency and compliance to value our employees. Support generalist P&C, recruitment activity and P&C projects. Build trusted relationships within our business, to guide, foster and enhance employee relations. Guide and support internal managers on employee relations matters to contribute to a constructive culture of consistency and fairness. Participate in the implementation of HR initiatives with our team to add to a bigger picture of employee engagement and culture. Occupational Safety & Health Contributes towards the achievement of a safe work environment by taking proactive measures to promote the safety, health and well-being of employees. Actively engage with the Safety Committee contributing People related advice. Communication Communicate appropriately with staff and internal / external key stakeholders displaying integrity and professionalism.Professional Conduct Ensure effective integration, cooperation and collaboration. Extend professional knowledge through a range of self-development mechanisms including training, workshops, seminars, network forums etc. Other duties Undertakes any other duties as requested / directed to meet operational needs. The successful candidate for this role will be able to and hold: Tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management is desirable however is not compulsory. Experience providing generalist advice to a diverse workforce. Highly developed analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills, with proven ability to proactively formulate and recommend strategies to enhance operational activities. Highly developed interpersonal communication skills and emotional intelligence with the ability to liaise effectively and professionally with a range of key stakeholders.
