About the Opportunity The Technical Officer- Calibration role is to provide support to the Senior Technical Officer Calibration.
You will arrange calibration of ASC's Inspection, Measuring and Test Equipment by both internal and external calibration facilities.
The work will require you to liaise directly with internal asset owners and calibration facilities to ensure that effective and timely calibration services are provided.
This is a full-time opportunity based at our Osborne site in SA.
Responsibilities Ensure all compliance and certification processes are meticulously followed while maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Review of Calibration certificates for compliance to defined standards Collaborate with Project Managers (PMs) or Team Leads in production.
Communicate with production staff regarding calibration recalls and other issues Engage with external stakeholders effectively Prepare dispatch documentation, and administer quotations and purchase orders Raise PDR (Product Deficiency Reports) with the engineering team for out-of-calibration equipment Possess a degree of technical understanding relevant to mechanical engineering and similar equipment.
Communicate any issues related to equipment calibration and performance while working closely with the engineering team to resolve technical issues.
About you Mechanical or Electrical Trade qualifications or relevant training and experience Awareness of ISO 17025 standard and requirements would be beneficial Demonstrated proficiency in administration skills to identify and resolve administrative issues efficiently Ability to prioritise tasks and to manage time effectively to handle various administrative duties Proven ability to effectively communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Proven ability to maintain organised and accurate documentation for record-keeping and the ability to follow compliance and certification processes.
Demonstrated experience with tasks including but not limited to: dispatch records, purchase orders, quotations, conformance reports.
Eligibility This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to a baseline level.
