Are you an experienced maintenance manager, either from a professional engineering or a mechanical trades background, looking for a respectful and inclusive work culture for the next step in your maintenance management career?
Our client is the Australian arm of a global business manufacturing uniforms for their Australian clients out of their facility in Adelaide's inner north.
Driven by succession planning, they are seeking to appoint a Maintenance Engineering Manager to join their leadership team.
Consistent with the experienced profession they seek, a salary of around $150k plus super is on offer.
Your Role
In partnership with Production, ensure that all plant and equipment is always serviceable and in safe working order.
Lead and track to completion the preventative maintenance schedule.
Lead the maintenance team to ensure both programmed and immediate production issues are supported.
Proactively engage in regular plant assessment to identify efficiency improvement initiatives and improved automation opportunities and the creation of supporting capex submissions.
Lead the upgrade and installation projects in partnership with the regional engineering team and contractors to ensure project delivery.
Ensure that the management of contractors on site is completed in line with WHSMS and budget measures.
About You
A Bachelor degree qualified engineer most likely in mechanical or a significant mechanical trades background.
Demonstrated history of at least 5 years experience in a similar maintenance engineering management role including using TPM and LEAN.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills making you the sort of person that all people in the organisation find approachable.
A customer centric approach to project management and continuous improvement.
