Technical Business Analyst

Highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to join a dynamic team in supporting a Core Banking simplification program for a leading client in Financial Services on a 12 months day rate contract.
You will work closely with technical experts and be instrumental in analyzing, documenting, and streamlining processes to enhance the bank's core systems, delivering an efficient, customer-centered platform that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

Your Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements to drive the Core Banking simplification efforts.
Partner with IT, operations, and business teams to understand current banking processes, identify areas for improvement, and recommend innovative solutions.
Work closely with project managers and other analysts to align project goals with business objectives and ensure the timely delivery of initiatives.
Conduct gap analyses, feasibility studies, and system assessments to provide actionable insights that guide technical developments.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms for stakeholders.
Draft detailed functional specifications and use cases to support development teams and ensure alignment with client requirements.
Assist in data mapping, validation, and migration efforts within the Core Banking platform, ensuring seamless integration and continuity.
Support testing phases, including creating test cases, validating results, and coordinating UAT sessions.
Key Requirements of the Ideal Candidate
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Extensive proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst within the Financial Services Industry.
Experience on core banking initiatives.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) for project management and collaboration.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business units.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Due to weekly in office attendance requirements, only candidates who are based in Brisbane/Gold Coast (open to relocation) area will be considered.
