About the Role
Working for a State Government organisation with values focused on its people and innovation, a temporary opportunity exists now for a technology savvy, client focused individual to contribute within this outgoing, proactive, self-managed and collaborative focused team. The successful candidate will need to be able to commence within a day's notice and commit to the length of contract. There may be a possibility of extension thereafter.
This role will see you work as a unified team to provide professional services helpdesk support to all finanical business systems (SAP, BI, SABA/SABX, Infor, CommBiz) internal users across the organisation in a timely manner. You will need to be a quick learner and will be provided with the full training upon commencement, and therefore not expected to have knowledge of these systems. Systems savvy and excellent customer focus is key and one who gains satisfaction from providing consistent and quality customer experience will be highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities Participate in a multi-disciplinary professional service desk team, undertake tasks as required. Provision of user access and various delegations in SAP, Business Intelligence (BI), School Appropriation and Budget Application (SABA/SABX), Infor Budget and Reporting Tool (Infor), CommBiz and other finance related applications. Provide advice and business support in relation to SAP, BI, SABA/SABX, Infor, CommBiz and other finance related applications. Identify and recommend system and procedural changes for continuous improvement. Maintain procedures and associated supporting documentation including departmental forms. Assist in processes associated with changes, fixes and technical upgrades to SAP, BI, SABA/SABX, Infor, CommBiz and other finance related applications. Participate in the maintenance of training materials and delivery of training programs for departmental users. Liaise, consult and negotiate effectively with team members and departmental staff in relation to unit activities. Encourage an innovative and dynamic team environment. Perform other tasks of a technical or administrative nature as directed by the Manager.
