Who You Are: We are seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter) who thrives in the vibrant world of the creator economy, social media and gaming. This is a full-time position based at our office in Melbourne.
With a deep understanding of the pivotal roles spanning Production, Creative, Packaging (Thumbnails), Post-Production and Operations particularly in YouTube and gaming content, you are well-versed in identifying and attracting top-tier talent in these fields.
Your Responsibilities and Skills: Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, from sourcing and screening to interviewing and hiring.
Develop robust talent pipelines across various roles in Production, Creative, Packaging (Thumbnails), Post-Production and Operations
Manage HR projects, including recruitment campaigns and initiatives, to align with Spawnpoint Media's strategic objectives.
Utilise Social media (Twitter, LinkedIn), Discord and professional networks to engage with potential candidates, enhancing our employer brand and expanding our reach.
Leverage your knowledge of the creative economy communities to connect with and attract candidates who are not only skilled but passionate about the industry.
Requirements: Proven experience in Talent Acquisition, specifically in either the social media, creator economy, gaming, e-sports, or media production industries. Preferably experience in the creator economy.
Ideally experience in a "start-up" work environment.
Familiarity with YouTube content, having watched it regularly; and understanding the ecosystem. Ideally having watching gaming YouTube content.
Strong networking skills with the ability to engage effectively with candidates and stakeholders across various platforms.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
