Learn how Cognizant helps clients lead with digital at www.cognizant.com or follow us @CognizantPosition Summary:• Designing the appropriate strategic technology solution to the client's specific business need.• Providing advisory consulting to business and technology client leaders in areas such as: Asset teams, Enterprise Architecture, IT convergence, product management, and platform architecture.• Act as a trusted advisor in the field of technology led transformation from strategic vision, development of business cases all the way through to solution delivery.• Working with clients within a multi-disciplinary team (Leading), to build associated Technology and Architecture artefacts e.g.
Technology heat maps allowing for senior executive insight and understanding.• Support account executives to shape large deals / pursuits and to present solutions / proposals to clients; especially in areas such as Enterprise / Solution architecture, due diligence, technology selection, or digital technology integration.• Coach and mentor junior consultants to improve their technology consulting capabilityMandatory Skills:• A minimum of 10+ years' experience in Technology services (with a strong focus on solution design).• A strong track record leading client advisory, technology selection and solutioning and a hands-on role in leading complex transformation engagements.• Experienced in Enterprise Architecture (including creating architecture roadmaps) AND integration architecture, with a focus on forward looking technology visions• Extensive experience working with a variety of digital and cloud-based technologies, microservices / APIs, and familiarity with Agile / Dev Ops principles / ways of working.• Extensive onsite and client facing experience; preferably across multiple domains (note: a domain preference is ok, as long as you are comfortable working across industries).• Experience building exec relationships on engagements; to drive successful outcomes, identify new consulting opportunities, and positioning / pitching for additional consulting work with clients.• Past experience with cloud platforms and key CRM / eCommerce software (Salesforce or SAP) will be highly regarded.Roles and responsibilities:• Manage teams to work with users to formulate and document business requirements• Identifying, investigating, and analyzing business processes, procedures and work practices• Identifying and evaluating inefficiencies and recommending optimal business practices, and system functionality and behavior• Using project management methodologies, principles and techniques to develop project plans and to cost, resource and manage projects• Taking responsibility for deploying functional solutions, such as creating, adopting and implementing system test plans, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system• Creating user and training documentation, and conducting formal training classes• Developing functional specifications for use by system developers• Using data and process modelling techniques to create clear system specifications for the design and development of system software• Acting as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system project decision making process.Salary Range: > $100,000Date of Posting: 8/21/2024Next steps:If you feel this opportunity suits you, or Cognizant is the type of organization you would like to join, we want to have a conversation with you!
