The Role
Copper Refineries currently have a vacancy for a Production Supervisor in our Anode Casting area. Reporting to the Production Superintendent, you will be required to manage and lead the Anode Casting team in achieving health, safety, environment and operational targets. The Anode Casting team is responsible for melting copper recycle from the Tankhouse and forming new copper anodes.
Your key responsibilities will include:

Experience in a supervisory role in a production environment.Strong leadership and team management skills.Commitment to safety and environmental practices.This position is residentially based in Townsville and offers a unique roster pattern providing you with a 4-day long weekend. Your rostered hours will be 6am-6pm each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday only, with an additional 12-hour shift required every third Friday (average 40-hour week).
