About the Role
As a Statutory or Graduate Planner, you will play a key role within the statutory planning and building team to deliver a responsive and professional planning service. Horsham is a developing regional city and you will be exposed to a range of applications including medium density housing, subdivision, commercial development, native vegetation and form part of a small multi-disciplinary team involved in exciting developments and strategic projects.
Band 5 or 6 depending on experience ($73,418 - $$96,350 per annum)
Full time, ongoing
Flexible working available, including part-time and hybrid models
About You
Horsham Rural City is seeking an enthusiastic planning professional with a planning degree or about to graduate, local government experience or a willingness to learn, well- developed interpersonal skills with the ability to research and analyse information and prepare concise reports and recommendations.
If you're looking for a new challenge and have an interest in rural and regional communities, this role is a perfect fit for you. As a Statutory Planner, you will have a degree or relevant discipline in Planning from a recognised tertiary institution. As a Graduate Planner, you will have enrolled in a recognised tertiary course specific to planning. A valid driver's licence and Australian Visa with working rights is mandatory.
