The Role: As the Software Development Team Lead, you will head a team of 5 skilled in-house developers dedicated to the design, development, implementation and continuous support of our websites, web technologies and ERP system. In this critical role, you'll ensure the reliability, performance and security of our applications, while also driving innovation and enhancements to meet our evolving business needs. The ideal candidate will be familiar with integrations to Salesforce, D365 and other enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities: Support Lite n' Easy's mission to create a healthier Australia by developing and supporting ICT applications that drive both Business-as-Usual (BAU) and strategic initiatives. Provide leadership and direction across the department in Web Development. Manage application development best practice, processes and establish these practices within the team. Identify opportunities for growth and continuous improvement within the team by encouraging skill development and fostering a positive, collaborative environment. Collaborate with the Application Manager and the ICT Project Manager through detailed analysis, design and development and prioritisation based on ICT deliverables and goals. Manage timelines from concept through to applications launch for development activities. About You: 10+ years of experience in web and application development within the Microsoft application suite. 5+ years of experience in a technical team leadership role. The ability to work well under pressure and maintain excellent coding standards. Strong grasp of security principles and how they apply to E-Commerce applications. The ability to manage, lead, work in a team and independently. Microsoft .Net (C# and VB.Net) with emphasis on ASP.Net web applications and Windows Forms desktop applications. Microsoft .Net Core (C#) with an emphasis on RESTful API services. Content Management Systems. Advanced styling using CSS/SASS, grid-based front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, CSS Flexbox), and experience with responsive, mobile-ready websites. Solid knowledge of backend databases for dynamic applications, particularly SQL Server. Microsoft Azure DevOps and/or Microsoft App Center. Mobile app development experience with .Net Maui. Familiarity with Next.js, Storyblok, and Vercel. Experience with Microsoft Visual Basic 6 and/or Microsoft Access. Experience with integrations to Salesforce, D365, and other enterprise applications is highly advantageous.
