Full-Time Permanent Position Based on Bentley Campus $102,506 - $110,061 (G07) Plus 17% Superannuation Job Reference: 1225395    About The Role: We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior UX Lead to join our team.
This unique leadership position will see you responsible for the continual design, delivery and improvement of the digital experience for future students.
In this role, you will supervise one direct report and collaborate closely with the larger UX and Development team to manage Curtin Central websites and marketing technology platforms.
Your focus will be on maintaining a digital environment that meets both user needs and business requirements for future students.
This position is fast-paced, which will allow you to see the tangible outcomes and impact of your work on a daily basis.
Key responsibilities:  Oversee the management of Curtin Central websites and marketing technology platforms Lead the front end development of new websites and updates to existing templates, layouts and functionality  Work with the UX Manager to create, maintain and execute team processes and pipeline of work Facilitate UX workshops, user research initiatives and other activities to identify and document user needs and business requirements Provide leadership in the design, development, testing and implementation of the future student digital experience Conduct analysis on gaps, problems and opportunities relating to the technical provision of Curtin's public website and other digital platforms.
Manage relationships with partner agencies to deliver design and development services, adhering to desired processes and specifications Coach and mentor team members to continually improve skillsets and capabilities    We are looking for (the ideal candidate): The ideal candidate must have experience working with design and development teams, ideally in an agile environment.
You will also have experience in User Experience concepts and methods.
To be successful in this role you will have a combination of strong communication, technical, analytical, relationship management and organisational skills.
Extensive knowledge and experience of user experience and UI design across desktop and mobile devices.
Demonstrated experience in front-end web development with skills in HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript frameworks including jQuery, Bootstrap and React.
Strong conceptualisation skills with the ability to develop wireframes/storyboards, user flows, process flows and user interface designs and interactive prototypes.
Expertise working with UX applications Demonstrated understanding of usability principles, digital accessibility standards and inclusive design best practice.
Proficient understanding of version build and control tools, in particular, Git, Webpack and Gulp.
Experience with web content management systems and digital marketing tools, e.g.
WordPress, Optimizely and DXP platforms is desirable   Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to be adaptable, proactive and willing to take ownership.
