The Role: We are looking for an experienced Security Technician to join our Service Team.
You will be responsible for the servicing and installation of new or existing Access Control, CCTV, Intercom and Duress systems. This role will also present the opportunity to be quoting and running Small/Medium Fitouts/Upgrades on your maintenance database clients.
Your major responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Diagnoses and fault finding of all security equipment. Preventative Maintenance of Existing Sites Installation of small/medium commercial projects Commissioning of small to medium commercial projects. Quoting of fault repair works found on maintenances. Liaising with subcontractors during the commissioning of projects. Assisting the commercial projects team with new and existing works. Customer relationship management. Security control systems include P2000, C-Cure, Lenel, Concept, Tecom Integriti Protégé WX-GX and Gallagher. CCTV includes, NVRs, DVRs, Network switches, CCTV servers which include servicing and installing HikVision, NX Witness, Hanwah, Genetec, Avigilon and Milestone.
Experience or certification in any of the above systems preferred but not required as we will provide ongoing system training for the right candidates.
The right person: The successful candidate must be an Australian resident, who holds a valid QLD Driving licence, Cable licence, Security licence and Building Industry Induction card. Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role. The key to success in this role will require an interest in working on both high-level and low-level networked systems including PC related skills for day-to-day paperwork along with job specific commissioning documentation. Be proactive and put their best foot forward when liaising with customer sites and advising them on their security needs. Be willing to join the paid On-Call roster.
