You'll play a crucial role in scaling our engineering team while maintaining a balance between rapid iteration and system stability.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and enhance product features using React.js, React Native, and Node.js/TypeScript.Lead and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Architect and implement scalable, secure, and modular systems.Contribute to the growth and development of our engineering team.Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.RequirementsProven experience in building and maintaining robust, scalable web and mobile applications.Mastery of React and Node using TypeScript; familiarity with frameworks like Next.js.Experience with Redux and Saga for managing side effects.Expert proficiency in HTML/CSS.Demonstrated proficiency with document databases such as MongoDB, and Redis.Experience with APIs and GraphQL, both as a consumer and provider.Track record of solving complex business problems through innovative technical solutions.Experience working in fast-paced, scale-up environments.Comfortable with CI/CD practices and methodologies.Nice to HaveExperience with Node.js for server-side development.Familiarity with MongoDB for database management.Knowledge of AWS services and cloud deployment.Other items required:Australian working rights for at least 3 years.Must be willing to undertake a National Police Check.Ability to work from our office in Varsity Lakes, QLD.Please apply with your resume and cover letter outlining your suitability for this role.
