Location: Department of Heath are seeking an experienced Senior Policy Analyst - Clinical Governance.The Clinical Governance Section supports safety managers, clinicians and staff who are accountable for quality of care, continuous improvement in health outcomes, minimisation of risks, and fostering an environment of excellence in service delivery for patients in the Tasmanian public healthcare system.
The role: Coordinates data and data analysis for section activities such as the Quality Governance Framework for Tasmania's Public Health and Human Services Systems (or equivalent), Service Agreement Key Performance Indicators or National Sentinel Event reporting.Research and analyse state, national clinical data, best practice improvement and quality and safety initiatives and provide advice on clinical quality and safety improvement opportunities for the Tasmanian health system.Develop productive relationships, networks and linkages within the Group and Unit, other Agency units, relevant state and national organisations and other key stakeholders in relation to clinical quality and safety.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.

Details of Appointment Permanent part time, day workerposition working 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
*notwithstanding hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time and part time vacancies.Salary:$104,756 - $118,730per annum. Our Employer 11% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
