About the role As the Senior Leader - Value Realisation Office (VRO) you will focus on overseeing and implementing the bank's portfolio of change initiatives, ensuring they meet established scope, budget, timeline, and quality standards to achieve strategic goals and manage risks effectively. Your key responsibilities will include establishing strong project governance and execution principles to prioritise and manage enterprise initiatives, leading to enhanced delivery quality, speed, and efficiency.
Specifically, this will include:
Establishing and leading the Value Realisation Office (VRO) for People First BankSupporting value streams in optimising delivery, coaching and prioritisation.Collaborating across Delivery Practices and Technology & Transformation to improve operations.Designing and continuously improving Lean Portfolio process.Maintaining a centralised source of portfolio metrics and reporting.Creating a control environment for enterprise portfolio planning and forecasting.Partnering with Finance to implement a simplified financial model for capacity-funded value streams.Defining tools for value streams to support enterprise-wide reporting.Providing timely and accurate portfolio reporting to executives and the Board.Leading communication and training for Lean Portfolio Management adoption.Overall, as a key member of the Delivery Practices Leadership Team you will execute our strategy and elevate colleague engagement to world-class levels.
About you You are a seasoned leader with substantial experience in finance, strategy or project management, preferably within the banking and financial services sector. Your expertise in lean portfolio creation, dashboard reporting, and provision of support across diverse delivery methodologies will ensure your success. A proven track record in managing large portfolios of change initiatives and thought leadership in portfolio management trends is highly desirable as is a strong background in value stream delivery models, the establishment of Value Realisation Offices (VROs), and portfolio tooling configuration.
