Our client is a large, successful company of 1,000 people operating Australia wide.
Due to growth, they require a Senior Financial Accountant to join their highly regarded finance team.
Reporting to the Financial Accounting Manager you will undertake the following:
Supervise a team of accountants
Provide technical accounting advice
Mentor members of the finance team
Assist with month end processes
Assist with statutory accounts
Balance Sheet reconciliations
Asset and lease accounting
Assist with preparation of BAS and FBT
Data collation for external auditors and statutory tax.
Project work
To succeed in this role, it is expected you will have the following skills and attributes:
CA/CPA qualifications
Strong technical accounting knowledge
ERP and system skills.
Communication skills
A desire to contribute, continuously learn and develop your skills
Experience in an accounting firm or commercial organization
Team player
You will be joining a highly successful company with a great culture.
You will be based in the Brisbane CBD office.
Hybrid working arrangements are not offered.
