Your Role
This is a crucial leadership role in managing a company's financial operations, strategy, and reporting. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer you will be accountable for:
Financial planning and analysis, developing and overseeing financial strategies, budgets and forecasts.Financial reporting, preparing and presenting all necessary financial statements to the board.Compliance and risk management, ensuring adherence to laws and regulations and working with the auditors to monitor and improve financial controls.Cash Flow Management, manage banking relationships, effective treasury, tax planning.Cost control, identify opportunities to improve operational, logistics and marketing activities.Stakeholder management, build strong relationships with all department heads and external financial stakeholders.About You
Our ideal candidate will come with a well-established finance and accounting background as well as strong exposure to agriculture or related vertically integrated business.
Coupled with a proven background in the planning and reporting cycles of a complete operating business unit, you will be able to interpret complex financial relationships while playing a leadership role in the business.
To be successful in this role, it is important that you can address the following:
Relevant tertiary education in Commerce/Accounting.5+ years of experience within a large corporate or professional services firm.Ability to lead, nurture and mentor a team.CA/CPA qualified (preferred).Experience in Agriculture would be highly regarded but not essential.Choose Agri Talent
