ITP is hosted within the DPI and supports seven other state government agencies through a centralised business and corporate partnership model. Our priority is to ensure the continuity of information and communications technology (ICT) service delivery and support for all our partnering agencies to the same high standard.

As Our Senior Finance Officer, You Will

Provide financial management services, financial performance information, and specialist advice to cost centre managers, team members and external stakeholders.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and deliver customer-focused services.Contribute to the annual budget development process including the monitoring and implementation of key budgetary elements within the budget timeframe.Contribute to the development, implementation, administration and review of financial models, financial and budgetary systems, and processes.Undertake current state and future state analysis for ITP services with consideration to costs recovery drivers and impact on service required.Undertake and quality assure monthly Fee for Service billing.Oversee ICT procurement and contractor engagement services.Identify and implement business improvement opportunities.Maintain compliance with departmental policy and procedures including the Financial Management Practice Manual, Australian Accounting Standards, and relevant legislation.Mentor, guide, lead and develop staff in a changing environment.Prepare and present reports, proposals and briefings on financial management and procurement activities and performance for the business unit.Foster and role-model a work environment that values performance, improvement, innovation and outcomes and knowledge sharing within the business unit.Actively participate in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture where team members enjoy coming to work, and ethical practices, workplace safety, equity, and diversity are valued.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
