Our client provides a whole range of legal services to a large and diverse client base throughout Queensland. This includes parental arrangements, property settlement, dispute resolutions, criminal justice, traffic offices and consumer rights.
About the Role
They are currently seeking a .Net Developer for an initial contract through to the end of June 2025. This role will be working alongside another developer and backfilling a secondment onto project work. The role will sit within the Development Team and will be responsible for developing and maintaining enterprise software systems and core business applications. The work will be mainly BAU and will be broken into work packages.
Responsibilities: Apply design, system engineering and programming skills to develop and support business applications. Utilise a variety of technologies including .Net/C#, IIS, HTML, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, and Visual Files. Liaise with clients and other stakeholders to identify development needs and provide advice in designing technical solutions to meet identified business requirements within enterprise business applications. Undertake analysis, programming, testing, documentation, implementation, and support. Triage and respond to incident tickets as the 2nd tier of support. Deliver the assessment of project/task needs while maintaining a systematic, goal-oriented approach towards meeting timeframes and required outcomes. Assist in the planning of Information Technology projects. Maintain relevant supporting documentation such as procedures, standards, and guidelines relevant to corporate business applications. Monitor and research emerging trends and technologies, and maintain professional skills, in order to provide creative solutions and technical advice. Skills and Experience: You will be an experienced .Net Developer and be very comfortable with the Microsoft stack. Ability to analyse technical business requirements and resolve technical issues relating to enterprise business applications. Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally. Ability to undertake projects including assessing needs, meeting timeframes, delivering outcomes, and adapting to changing requirements.
