Senior Customer Support Engineer
About the Opportunity
We are pleased to offer a new exciting, permanent position for individuals interested in joining our Tait Asia Pacific Team as an experienced Senior Customer Support Engineer in our Brisbane Office.
This role is primarily responsible for providing high-quality technical support to customers, driving customer satisfaction, and contributing to the strategic goals of the organization through expert technical knowledge and exceptional customer service.
Key functions of this role also include:
Systematic fault finding and replication
Provision of technical information to customers
Generation of customer reports
Testing of network and terminal components and software
ITIL aligned Incident and Problem management
This position will require some flexibility in working hours as there is a requirement to complete 'on call' scheduled hours to support customers outside of regular business hours.
What You'll Bring:
To be successful in this role you will need to be extremely customer focused, with advanced technical knowledge and excellent attention to detail.
Experience Required
At least 5 years' experience in an ICT or wireless communication technical role
Experience with Land Mobile Radio equipment, P25, DMR, conventional, trunking and simulcast systems, LTE technologies and operation would be beneficial
Familiar with the concepts of ITIL Service Management principles
Engineering degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
