Senior Contractor Compliance Specialist – Perth CBD Office – Permanent Full TimeYour Role in ActionThe Senior Contractor Compliance Specialist position in our Underground Power Projects area is responsible for ensuring external contractors undertaking complex construction activities on behalf of Western Power comply fully with the Contract Lifecycle Management Framework and all contractual compliance obligations and requirements including but not limited to: Safety, Environmental, Quality Management and the verification of Contractor claims.This role will also be required to manage and develop relationships with external contracting companies and stakeholders to deliver Western Power's contractual works effectively and efficiently and to the required standards.What Makes You a Great FitMust possess a relevant trade or engineering, contract management or HSE qualification and 10+ years relevant work experience.At least 10+ years solid experience in a specialist discipline in power system construction and commissioning, including civil/structural; electrical, overhead, and underground distribution lines.Best practice knowledge and industry experience in the areas of contract management and execution.Best practice experience and knowledge is essential for safety management, occupational health, workplace assessing, incident and hazard investigation.Proven experience in managing conflict resolution and contractor relationships.Interaction with others is primarily concerned with influencing, developing, and motivating people and changing behaviour, and mentoring and training of new team members.Proven experience in performing Constructability reviews on complex design packages.Demonstrated ability to engage with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders and work collaboratively to reach agreed outcomes.Valid WA Driver's License for site visits.By joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future.
