Great opportunity for an experienced recruitment lead to take on a position in the Talent Acquisition Group.

The group is responsible for the recruitment of Custodial Correctional Officers (CCO) and Community Corrections Officers across the state as well as Security Checks and ID Cards.

The team are primarily responsible for the end-to-end recruitment processes with a focus on attracting high quality candidates.

Job duration: up to 12 months with possibility of extension
Manage a small and highly effective team coordinating the end-to-end frontline recruitment for an operational divisionUndertake all recruitment related activities ensuring alignment with best practice for recruitment service deliveryAnalyse recruitment reports and work in progress data and trends to determine areas to target to encompass suitable representation for all demographicsBuild and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure business requirements are met relating to the recruitment of frontline staff across operational divisions in QCSManage the ongoing maintenance of QCS recruitment framework, tools, guidelines and templatesOversight and maintain contemporary marketing materials and represent QCS when required at external events such as career fairs to promote careers in correctionsCoordinate and conduct public Information Seminars and promotional activities across QLDDevelop recruitment reports, briefing notes and correspondence on relevant recruitment mattersUndertake day-to-day work within a high tempo team in a high-volume environment with competing demands and the requirement to meet strict planning deadlinesDevelop training resources and manuals for Talent Advisors to build capability across QCS in relation to recruitment and selection of staffEnsure staff are equipped with skills and knowledge to effectively undertake recruitment activities through coaching and mentoringMaintain knowledge of legislation, policies and procedures relevant to recruitment practices and ensure QCS practices adhere to legislative obligations and requirementsLead the security check or ID card administration officer position.The essential requirements for this role are: Demonstrated experience leading a talent acquisition teamDemonstrated experience in talent acquisition, preferably gained in a medium to large organisationDemonstrated experience in the delivery of client focused end-to-end recruitment services with high work volumesExperience with various attraction and sourcing methods with a clear understanding of end-to-end candidate managementAbility to build and manage ongoing working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholdersExperience in the delivery of recruitment plans with an emphasis on recruitment and engagementEffective interpersonal skills as evidenced by the ability to build successful relationships with internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrated well developed written communication and research skills including the ability to prepare templated reports and submissionsProblem solving and analytical skills for investigating and resolving recruitment issues, and for improving recruitment practices and processesAbility to learn recruitment related legislation, policies and proceduresAbility to summarise recruitment data and provide meaningful insightsThe successful applicant will be required to travel intrastate.
This is a temporary opportunity for up to 12 months with possibility of extension.
