Central Adelaide Local Health NetworkRoma Mitchell House, AdelaideSalary ASO-6 $97,022 - $102,626 p.a.Full-time permanentAbout the role The Senior Activity Based Management (ABM) Analyst is accountable for the local management, coordination and implementation of Patient Costing and analyses to Support Activity Based Management (ABM) at the relevant Stream, Hospital and Resource Centre level. This includes effective management of resource information systems and processes that contribute to maintaining patient level costing, funding models, ABM, benchmarking and data quality. This position also contributes to the overall application of frameworks for counting and classifying patient activity, undertaking project related work, and interpreting operational & performance information.
Responsibilities include:
Preparation of clinical and costing data to support monthly costing/ NEP and for national benchmarking activities.Contribute to the development of patient costing and activity based funding methodologies and principles.Assist to ensure that LHN activity reporting systems meet the management information needs for activity based funding and clinical costing.Participate in patient costing activities on behalf of and, in conjunction with SA Health and the LHN.Represent the LHN (and Hospitals) on State committees and working parties associated with patient costing and activity based funding.Undertake regular analysis and quality assurance of patient costing data.Participate in enhancing the promotion, use and quality of patient costing and associated decision support informationAbout CALHN The Central Adelaide Local Health Network includes South's Australia's major quaternary facility, the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, the Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and the Repat Health Precinct.
