Position Overview
We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Accountant to join the Sunshine Coast team. In this full-time role, you will work closely with the Manager and Director, engaging actively with clients and contributing to the success of their businesses. Flexibility for WFH is available when appropriate.
Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio of clients, establishing and maintaining strong relationships. Prepare and/or review financial statements, tax returns, and BAS/IAS. Provide tax planning and general accounting advice to clients. Liaise with the Australian Taxation Office and other relevant departments. Mentor and train junior team members. About You:
Successful applicants will have:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in an Accountancy Firm specialising in Business Services. A degree in accounting and be working towards or hold a CA/CPA qualification. Broad knowledge of Australian tax fundamentals. Strong tax and financial technical skills. Proven experience in client engagement and relationship management. Experience with Xero, XPM, and preferably Microsoft Teams. Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude. Strong organisational and time management abilities. Initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision. A passion for helping others and a commitment to professional development. Why Join our client?
