Security Officer

Job Title: Security Officer Location: Kitling Road, Prescott, Knowsley
Pay Rate: £12.38
Hours per week: Variable Shift Rota - 06:00 - 18:00, 18:00 - 06:00 - 48 hours per week (4 on 4 off)
Role Overview We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join our Security team based at our client's site in Kitling Road, Prescott, Knowsley.
In this role, you will form part of a team delivering security and fire protection services.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver site security services in line with client's requirements.
Ensure fire suppression systems are effective through testing and inspections.
Adhere to client policies and procedures for quality, Health and Safety, and environmental requirements.
Report and manage any breaches or incidents that could risk the site.
Safeguard premises, equipment, and property.
Identify and report misuse or damage to property.
Be proactive in daily duties and suggest improvements.
Represent the company professionally and maintain positive relationships with the team and client.
Act on any identified issues during patrols.
Report unsafe practices to the line manager.
Man various areas throughout the site and provide reception services.
Ensure comprehensive handover at the end of each shift.
Manage site key access and maintain security.
KPIs include: Competently deliver site assignment instructions.
Competently handle site emergency procedures.
Ensure accurate completion of documentation.
Manage fire alarm activations and evacuations.
Adhere to company and site H&S policies.
Maintain good communication with management and clients.
Reliability in attending shifts.

Current SIA License.
