About you
As the Rural & Workforce Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our Rural Programs and Workforce Planning teams.
You'll assist in fostering strong stakeholder engagement to ensure optimal workforce and placement outcomes for GP training, all while prioritising the quality and safety of our registrars and their patients.
To thrive in this role, you'll:


Help manage the end-to-end processes for rural training, including promoting Rural Practice and enhancing Rural Generalist roles.Work on improving the training experience for registrars in hospitals and beyond.Develop training opportunities in areas of workforce need and enhance Additional Rural Skills training pathways.Assist in organising rural education events and workshops.Support the planning process to ensure high-quality, safe training for registrars and continuity in placements.Collaborate with the Training Coordination and Data Integrity team to maintain accurate data across programs.Provide tailored support to rural program participants and manage their relationships with our dedicated concierge service.Foster meaningful collaborations across the GP Training environment. As a Rural & Workforce Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of our efforts to enhance rural healthcare training.
Reporting to the Workforce Planning and Rural Training Manager, you will provide essential coordination support across our Rural Programs and Workforce Planning teams.
Your work will directly contribute to optimising workforce placement outcomes and ensuring a high-quality training experience for GP registrars.


In this dynamic role, you'll engage with a variety of stakeholders, from registrars and supervisors to healthcare organisations, fostering collaboration to meet the evolving needs of rural healthcare.
You'll play a crucial part in developing training pathways, organising educational events, and maintaining accurate data to support informed decision-making.
