Revenue Administrator

Details of the offer

Permanent role within a supportive and friendly team Opportunity to continue to develop a career that means something but won't sacrifice life at home Loads of benefits including an extensive Healthy Lifestyle Program and genuine flexibility – Talk to us about what works for you The best career you never imagined.

The Port of Brisbane is a cornerstone of the Queensland economy.
As the company entrusted to maintain and develop the Port and its operations, we play a vital and diverse role.
And so will you.

Join us as a Revenue Administrator within our Finance team, where you will work with the Revenue team to accurately produce trade information and invoices for the recovery of harbour dues, wharfage, port access charges and cargo-based security charges.

Collaborative, skilled, and detail oriented: here's who we're looking for.

You are experienced with invoicing and billing systems and have ideally worked within the port or stevedoring industry.
You've got an eye for detail and pride yourself in being speedy with the keyboard.
You're keen to learn and consider yourself a fast learner.
You enjoy working independently and collaboratively within a small friendly team.
You don't mind a bit of repetition, but you also enjoy wearing a few hats and having some variety within your role.
You're comfortable with MS Excel and experience in Master Terminal system would be highly advantageous.
This bit matters!
We're an equal opportunity employer and we're proud of our diverse work environment.
We are also on our own journey to support an even more diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
We recognise the need to continue to encourage diversity and strive to have a workforce that is representative of our community.
If you have any questions about our inclusivity or accessibility, please do get in touch.

Five reasons why we hope you'll apply.

You'll enjoy some great benefits at Port of Brisbane, including Flex-Work, a very active Social Club, a Healthy Lifestyle Program including access to the Fitness Passport scheme, on-site gym and annual health assessment, a subsidised Café, free car parking and a commitment to developing our people.
But joining us in this role should mean so much more.

A diverse role where every day's different: As a Revenue Administrator, you'll be at the centre of our organisation – processing trade manifests for all of the vessels arriving and departing Brisbane.
While most days you'll be working on the invoicing side of what we do – you'll also learn and spend time within Accounts Payable and Collections.
An important job, a powerful purpose: What we do at Port of Brisbane affects all Queenslanders and many who visit our proud state.
We're here to help facilitate trade throughout South-East Queensland and you'll have the front row seat.
Port of Brisbane is committed to making a difference.
For us, sustainability is about considering our stakeholders and ensuring the decisions we make enable the Port of Brisbane to be 'Here for the Future'.
A place where flexibility matters too: We expect a lot from our people, who are committed and dedicated to our mission.
But in return for your efforts, you'll enjoy flexibility and balance, no matter what's important to you outside of work.
Talk to us about a 9-day fortnight, hybrid working, staggered start and finish times or other arrangements that would support balance.
A welcoming, supportive culture: You'll find so many friendly, connected people at Port of Brisbane, and our Finance team are no exception.
They are a small team with an inclusive culture, that get on really well and are always there with a helping hand if you need one.
A proud reputation; a bright future: You'll join a company committed to building best practice in our industry, and a team that is proud of what we've delivered historically.
But we're not sitting still.
Bring your fresh perspectives and expertise to a team that truly values them.
Ready for the best career you never imagined?

If you're interested in the role and think you fit the bill, we'd love to hear from you!

You must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
You'll also be required to complete pre-employment checks, including a medical and national police check.
