About the Business Unit: The Offender Services and Reintegration division of Corrections Victoria (CV) is responsible for providing best practice interventions which aim to reduce the risk of reoffending including case management, education and employment, prison industries and rehabilitation and reintegration supports. The division contributes to a safer community by supporting a safe and humane corrections system that provides opportunities for rehabilitation, supports reintegration and works toward Aboriginal self-determination. The Employment Pathways Team within Corrections Victoria is engaged in developing and implementing a state-wide coordinated employment function across Victoria's prison system. This role works directly with the Employment Specialists located at Dame Phyllis Frost Centre and Tarrengower. About the Role: As a key member of the Employment Specialists team you will be primarily involved in assisting the delivery of existing and new employment services and programs to both prison staff and to people in prisons. The role will also include opportunities to participate in service and process improvement, delivery strategy and leadership. The aims of this employment function are to provide practical support and options for people in prison to access sustainable employment post release.
