About this position
The focus of this position is to undertake engineering designs, prepare cost estimates, and develop specifications for roads, drainage and other infrastructure projects in the design stage.
In this role, you will collaborate with a professional team within Engineering Services, where your knowledge and experience will contribute to the successful delivery of design projects for the community.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil Site Design will be highly regarded.
To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate:
Sound knowledge of road design, including current best practice and standards.
High proficiency in 3D road design using AutoCAD Civil 3D, Civil Site Design or equivalent design software.
Strong ability to manage multiple tasks while completing design projects, including report preparation.
The ability to work effectively as a part of a small team, using initiative and sound judgment to proactively contribute to the business unit.
Diploma or higher qualification in Engineering.
Current driver's licence.
Current National Police clearance (less than three months old).
