Job Description
This position is responsible for the supervision of the work of a team of kitchen personnel in the commissary/central production unit, thereby maintaining high standards of food preparation in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead the production team in the preparation of high-quality recipes and associated menu items.
Implement and maintain standardized recipes, portion control, and cooking procedures to ensure consistency across all outlets.
Stock/Inventory Management.
Conduct regular quality checks.
Implement and enforce health and safety standards in the kitchen, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Conduct regular equipment maintenance and oversee cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Develop and test new menu items.
Qualifications
Your experience and skills include:
Proven experience in a high volume restaurant or production kitchen setting.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong proven leadership qualities and management skills.
Ability to maintain high service levels under pressure.
In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
More than 5 years experience in the same role.
