Where the PropTrack team fits in REA is evolving how it leverages data and technology to deliver benefits for customers. After the acquisition of PropTrack in May 2018, and following large growth in recent years, we are now looking for an experienced Product Manager to oversee data acquisition activities and manage third-party relationships.
What the role is all about The Product Manager, Data Partnerships role entails overseeing data acquisition activities, managing third-party relationships and contracts, and ensuring compliance with data usage terms and licensing agreements. The responsibilities of the role include:
Assess complimentary data sets and accountable for data acquisition activitiesManage 3rd party supplier/vendor contracts and relationshipsBe the SME on each data asset's terms of useEstablish frameworks and processes to ensure compliance with licence agreementsAssist in identifying, defining and categorising data risks and their mitigationsLead, own and co-ordinate each annual compliance auditResponsible for maintaining the Critical Data Register and Data Valuation AssessmentsWorking with data teams across REA Group, contributing to and championing data governanceBuild strong working relationships and be the trusted partner across REA Group Product, Risk & Compliance and Tech & Engineering teamsWork closely with internal stakeholders to ensure data ingestion, provision and consumption complies with all licensing requirementsManage business relationships and engagement with existing partners and third partiesHave strong awareness of data governance, risk, compliance and security landscapeWho we're looking for An experienced professional with a passion for data, ideally with 7+ years experience working in a commercial data environmentDemonstrated experience managing large complex data setsDemonstrated experience commercialising dataDemonstrated experience implementing and operationalising processesExcellent communication, both written and verbalUnderstanding and implementation of data governance frameworks (e.g. DMBoK)Ability to analyse, understand and extract value from data assetsProperty domain knowledge is highly desirableThe REA experience The physical, mental, emotional and financial health of our people is something we'll never stop caring about.
