Together with manufacturing medicines, Phebra collaborates with hospitals in developing sought after therapeutic solutions. It partners with companies to bring critical medicines to Australia. Phebra also supplies and out-licences products globally across the Pacific region, Asia, Europe, Canada, South America, and the Middle East.

Our head office and manufacturing facility is based in Lane Cove, Sydney. This location holds our warehousing, manufacturing, laboratory testing, and other office environments. The Lane Cove site hosts around 130 employees and supports the health of Australians by supplying over 65 medicines in critical therapeutic areas. We also have a Sales and Marketing office based in Caulfield, Victoria.
The role offered will work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer who is primarily based in the Victoria office, but should an experienced Sydney-based candidate come forward, we may be able to arrange for this position to be based in our Sydney head office and occasionally travel to Victoria when necessary.
The Role The Project Manager (Hospital Portfolio) is a permanent full-time opportunity within our Marketing team, reporting to our Chief Marketing Officer. The role works alongside a variety of other positions within the business covering Sales, Regulatory, New Product Introduction (NPI), Quality, and Customer Services, who will all act as internal stakeholders.
The main responsibilities of the Product Manager role at Phebra are to develop and execute strategic marketing plans for new and existing products within the Phebra Portfolio. The role is also responsible for managing the life-cycle of existing products to drive sustained profitability, evaluate the market potential for new products, as well as helping to formulate strategic plans to enhance growth and expansion of the product portfolio aligning with the strategic goals of the business.
Key performance areas include (but are not limited to):
Proactively monitoring market dynamics, customer behaviours, and competitor activity to understand Phebra's marketing opportunities and supporting with data analytics. Developing tactical strategies including promotional campaigns to grow unique products and build market share of competitive product lines with alignment to overall corporate strategy. Manage life-cycle of products from conception, launch, and beyond. Tracking product performance, gathering customer feedback, and refining existing strategies to ensure continued relevance and success. Develop and strengthen relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and key customers within key therapeutic areas to drive key strategic initiatives and use information to refine marketing strategies. To be successful within the role, we require a proactive and strategic thinker who can contribute to the success of our 5-year strategic plan, working cooperatively with the wider team to achieve this.
Who are we looking for? Our ideal candidate would be someone who can think outside of the box, be pragmatic and solutions-oriented, agile, and flexible in approach as well as having the following requirements:
Minimum 4 years product management experience within the pharmaceutical industry with success in launching new products. Tertiary qualifications in either pharmacy, scientific, biomedical, or healthcare with a high aptitude to interpret technical, clinical, and marketing data relating to focus products and/or industry. Deep understanding of the principles of marketing. Experience in Key Opinion Leader, Hospital Pharmacist, and Clinical Specialist engagement. Strong networking skills, with strong communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Computer literacy including MS 365 suite and web-based applications. Demonstrated leadership, negotiation skills, and strong business acumen.
