About The Role
We are looking for a talented Production Engineer to join our Operations Team based at either our Brisbane or Adelaide Facility on a 12-month contract (with a view to permanent).
As a Production Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in:
Optimizing production processes. Ensuring seamless integration of design and manufacturing to deliver high-quality, custom-built Doors and Louvres. Ensuring accurate BOMs are created and maintained. Ensuring all critical components are included on the BOM. Guaranteeing accurate auxiliary work instructions including, but not limited to, schematics, work instructions, and documents are available to the production team for all jobs. Managing the Engineering Change Process and overseeing change throughout the manufacturing process. Establishing and maintaining the part number philosophy. Implementing process improvement, evaluating and improving production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and maintain high-quality standards. Supporting the implementation of LEAN Practices. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless production processes. Ideally, you will be:
Results-oriented with a hands-on approach and a sense of responsibility and ownership. Bringing strong technical knowledge, operating with a high level of structure, energy, and autonomy. Able to work in cross-functional teams. You will also possess:
3+ years' experience in a similar role within manufacturing. A self-driven, resilient attitude and a desire to succeed while owning the accountability of the role. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to foster relationships. A motivation to grow and develop yourself and your overall capability.
