The Principal ICT Finance Advisor is a pivotal role in managing and enhancing ICT financial related activities.
Your responsibilities will span financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, alongside the critical task of monitoring the performance of key ICT contracts and projects to ensure the internal ICT financial control environment operates efficiently, effectively and economically.
Your insights will be crucial to driving strategic decisions and fostering financial excellence within the QAS ICT Portfolio.
We are seeking applicants who, within the context of the role responsibilities, possess the following key attributes:
Highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills and the proven ability to interpret and evaluate financial data and reports to identify the financial impact of issues, assess options and prepare recommendations. Proven experience in delivering high quality financial and management accounting services within a complex organisational environment; with a demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service. Sound knowledge in best practice financial and accounting standards, relevant legislative requirements, policies and procedures to ensure compliance obligations are met. Demonstrated highly developed oral and written communication skills including the ability to articulate complex financial concepts, negotiate with influence, resolve conflicts and prepare accurate reports and documentation. Demonstrated high level attention to detail with the proven ability to work methodically, plan and prioritise tasks, manage workflows and achieve outcomes within allocated timeframes.
