The Leukaemia Foundation is seeking a seasoned PR professional with experience and passion for the not-for-profit sector to join our team to support in driving our strategy in improving outcomes for Australians diagnosed with blood cancer.
You will have demonstrated experience in building and maintaining key media relationships, with the ability to maintain strong relationships with ambassadors and blood cancer advocates.
Job Description You will have the opportunity to: Partner and work with the Senior PR & Ambassador Manager to mobilise the media plan in alignment with the Foundation's organisational priorities and strategic deliverables. Negotiate and secure quality on-message media coverage; taking the lead on various proactive and reactive media engagement. Assist in driving the PR for large-scale campaigns including World's Greatest Shave. Support stakeholder engagement including working with Ambassadors and blood cancer advocates to increase awareness. Support media events and launches including case study and spokesperson liaison. Does this sound like you? At least 5 years of experience operating in a similar role. Demonstrable experience in media engagement; building media relationships and negotiating and securing media coverage. Proven experience and success in ambassador engagement.
