About the Role As the Portfolio Project Manager, you are accountable for ensuring all projects are delivered in accordance with our Project Delivery Platform and each project delivers its strategic objectives.
You are responsible for managing all aspects of the Project Delivery Team, including establishing project teams, maintaining core capabilities, continuous improvement, determining resource requirements, mentoring team members, monitoring the quality of outputs and evaluating operational effectiveness.
You are accountable for the compliance of all individual projects, incorporating all aspects of successful project management including cost, schedule, risk, and stakeholder engagement. You will seek to benefit from the delivery of multiple projects as a portfolio and to achieve Verbrec's strategic business objectives, whilst meeting both Verbrec's and the Client's expectations.

Key Requirements: Manage the Projects and the team to achieve financial, operational and strategic Business Plan outcomesAccountable for compliance to the Project Delivery Platform, for all projects within the portfolio;Manage the preparation and submission of proposals, in consultation with all relevant multi-discipline engineering teams, and aligned to Verbrec's strategic objectives;Accountable for the performance of all projects within the portfolio;Ensure the accuracy of cost and schedule performance indicators to monitor performance of a portfolio, and is accountable for the implementation of measures to positively influence and control project performance;Accountable for the collation and mitigation of project risks at a portfolio level;Accountable for the identification and capture of lessons learnt at a portfolio level, including the sharing of key learnings with other Business Units;About you To be successful you will have: A project management background with a minimum of 15 years' experience, with more than 5 years in engineering consultingCertificate IV in Project Management PracticeCommercial experience, including engineering services contractsAbility to work under pressure and deliver to tight timeframesAble to build strong relationships (internal and external)Highly developed communication, team and interpersonal skillsExcellent time and task management skillsAn attractive remuneration package based on skills and experience is on offer to successful candidates.
