Engineering - Software (Information & Communication Technology) Full time BLACKROC have partnered with a well-known, global leader in their industry, renowned for innovation and delivering exceptional services to millions of customers worldwide.
They are dedicated to leveraging cutting-edge technology to optimise their operations and enhance customer experiences.
As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a Platform Engineer to join a team of 8, reporting to the Principal DevOps Engineer.
Role Overview: In a nutshell, you will take the load on the dev teams when it comes to building and deploying software.
Whilst there are elements of both Cloud Engineering and Software Engineering, if you're looking to stay more aligned to one or the other, this role isn't for you.
We're specifically looking for someone with experience creating 'automated' pipelines with CI/CD systems.
If you have experience with the likes of Jenkins, Azure DevOps and Team City – that's great BUT the difference here is the pipelines are fully automated providing instructions on the process.

Strong scripting abilities in languages like Python or Bash for developing automation tools and custom scripts for deployment, monitoring, and management tasks.
Familiarity with blue/green deployments, canary releases, and rollback strategies to ensure smooth application deployment in production environments.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Bicep for automating infrastructure provisioning and management.
Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for managing container orchestration and microservices-based architectures.
Experience in implementing security policies throughout deployment pipelines and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Why Join Our Client?
Hybrid working arrangements (Most of the team only head into the office once or twice a week).
Always iterating on their modern tech stack and pushing for the right solution.
Competitive salary + bonus + work perks such as a health and wellness allowance.
