About the role The role of the People & Development Systems & Projects Manager is to drive organisational capability for People & Development.
This includes continuous improvement of the people and development systems and ensuring they are implemented and consistently support the organisation.
What you will do Support the development and implementation of People & Development policies, procedures and processes to ensure organisational systems operate in accordance with relevant legislation, industry standards, regulatory and professional standards, and known best practices. Identify, develop and implement management tools and systems to guide and support utilisation of People & Development systems including digital systems. Provide training, education, supervision and coaching to ensure capability for consistent use of People & Development systems. Monitor and report on the application and performance of People & Development systems and processes. Identify, assess and manage any risks associated with People & Development. In response to needs analysis and evaluation of effectiveness, provide oversight and management of a program of continuous improvement for People & Development. Lead key People & Development projects including but not limited to the implementation of organisation-wide initiatives. You will bring Significant experience at a senior level in a health, disability, aged care or social services organisation with a proven track record. Tertiary qualification in a relevant field. Proven experience in developing and delivering quality reports including analysis of data. Thorough and sound knowledge of people management practices. A proven ability in project and policy management using a team-building approach through mentoring and staff development. An effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing with excellent presentation skills. Understanding of legislation, industry standards and regulations relating to employment and the aged care, community care, disability and/or social services sectors. Demonstrated project management and implementation experience with proven ability to creatively problem-solve and think strategically.
