The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Payroll Officer to join our Belmont Office and support a team of 4 with end-to-end payroll processing.
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Officer's responsibilities will include:
Processing end-to-end weekly & fortnightly payrolls accurately and on time Interpreting relevant Awards and EAs to process payroll, and configure payroll system rules correctly Assist in the resolution of complex payroll queries and issues Manage the provision of timely, relevant and accurate reporting for internal and external stakeholders including statutory and regulatory bodies Monthly and quarterly reconciliation of PAYG, superannuation, portable long service leave, and other general payroll maintenance tasks About You
The ideal candidate will have:
2-3 years prior experience in end-to-end payroll processing with high volume, blue and white-collar employees (essential) Strong understanding of legislation, taxation and superannuation related to payroll processing activities. Previous experience with interpreting and understanding industrial instruments including Awards, Enterprise Agreements and Common Law arrangements Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail Ability to work autonomously and a strong team contributor Strong analytical skills and intermediate Excel skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills The Benefits Working with a friendly, diverse and supportive team Access to our Employee Assistance Program for you and your family Free onsite parking every day How to Apply
