Payroll Manager & Excel Specialist

This is a unique role for a Payroll Manager as it throws a lot of challenges as we are a Labour Hire company that deals with a multitude of clients, awards and data differences. You need a strong ability to process quickly, resolve problems, be a critical thinker and investigator. Your ability to solve problems and your attention to detail must be of a high standard to achieve success in this role.
We need someone who can step up and take on the responsibility and accountability for accuracy, execution and timely reporting in processing, collating and managing end to end payroll. Splitting your week between payroll, leadership and implementing improvements designed by you and the team will provide challenge and variety.

What is involved in the role: Prepare and process multiple end to end pay runs weekly Prepare and lodge Single Touch Payroll information to ATO Calculation and management of PAYG, payroll tax and Workers Compensation Prepare and lodge superannuation contributions Process backpays and/or correction pays when required Multiple Awards and EBA interpretation and breakdown for rate cards Perform monthly payroll reconciliation and management reporting Resolve payroll related queries and issues Create and contribute to process improvements Work closely with our recruitment and operations teams to achieve harmonious workflow and client satisfaction. Do you have: At least 5 years' payroll end to end experience Experience in leading a team Ability to interpret effectively and accurately different awards and EBA's Good knowledge of superannuation, tax and payroll tax legislation Experience with large and complex weekly payroll Strong qualities in accuracy, attention to detail and prioritisation Ability to collate and report accurately on relevant data A disciplined and positive attitude to your work Advanced Excel skills What you can expect: Good leadership and support with a positive team environment Great salary package Career progression and further training opportunities If you believe you have these attributes, please apply via seek and we will be in contact directly.
