We have an amazing opportunity for a Part-Time Workforce Planning Coordinator to join our Food & Beverage Department.
This role will assist in the administration and rostering of our part-time and casual staff across our three racecourses: Caulfield, Sportsbet Sandown, and Mornington.As a key member of our Workforce Planning team, the successful candidate will ensure our racecourses have the optimal staffing resources.
Collaborate across departments to forecast staff needs, enhance workforce efficiency, and contribute to strategic decisions that align with our business objectives.What will your responsibilities be?Monitor and respond to all staffing-related inquiries.Liaise with stakeholders to establish appropriate staffing needs and preferences for all MRC Race Day and Non-Race Day Events.Manage the roster of all staff across the three racecourses.Develop and maintain workforce planning ratios to predict staffing requirements across different functions and departments.Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations, and company policies in all workforce planning activities.Generate reports and insights that inform decision-making and resource allocation.Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workforce planning processes.Skills & ExperienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify workforce challenges and develop innovative solutions.Experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders.Excels in pressurised environments and works well to deadlines.Excellent communication and numeracy skills – both written and verbal.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and relevant workforce planning software applications.Flexibility to work across weekdays and weekends (including some night and public holiday work).Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate.Victorian Driver's Licence.What's in it for you?Part-Time Contract - Possibility to work a three or four-day work week.Brand new state-of-the-art administration building with standing desks and breakout spaces.Access to our year-round well-being initiatives including our Employee Assistance Program for staff and family.Racing Industry Member passes, discounts across our family of brands, and free tickets to a wide range of events.Free onsite parking.Paid Volunteer and Parental Leave.Melbourne Racing Club values differences in gender, age, ethnicity, race, cultural background, disability, religion, and sexual orientation and encourages all suitable applicants to apply for this role.To apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.#J-18808-Ljbffr
