About the Role

We are on the hunt for a Minestar – Field Specialist to join our award-winning team in Mackay. This is your opportunity to work with Minestar Solutions as a technician supporting key customers across the Central Queensland Coal Fields. This position reports within the Technology Service Team and will require you to be responsible for the installation and ongoing support of the technology installed on Caterpillar and other manufacturers equipment. Successful candidates will undertake full CAT Minestar academy training program after a period of on the job training. The role will best suit those who hold a certification across a variety of disciplines including; radio technicians, mechanical or electrical.
As a Minestar, Field Specialist you will:
Perform hardware, electrical and mechanical installation of Technology system products Work to clear work processes and within agreed timeframes to ensure assigned tasks are completed Support on-site customers and work collaboratively with stakeholders to trouble-shoot and achieve the required outcomes Use your mechanical, electrical skills and experience in a unique technology-based role Why Hastings Deering?

A successful teammate will have:
As the successful candidate, ideally you will have a trade certificate or similar qualification in Communications, Electronics, Industrial Electrical, Control Systems, Digital Radio The ability to problem solve, fault find and troubleshoot will be highly regarded as is your ability to work autonomously A strong customer focus, outcomes driven and excellent communication skills are also required To Apply: Hit the 'Apply Now' button
